Preschool Activity Swap!

I am hosting a swap for all you moms of preschoolers! Some of you need activities to keep those preschoolers busy while you homeschool your older kiddos, and some of you need to keep them busy so you can get your things done, and some of you would just love 15 minutes of mommy time!

What we will do is each mom will make 15 activity bags (15 max, we will cut the swap off at 15 participants)...there are ideas here and here, or you can search for your own or make them up!

You will send all your bags to me, and I will return your box with 14 different activities for your preschooler. Each bag should cost less than $1 (could be less depending on what you have around your house!) and you will pay to ship them to me, and you will send a check to cover shipping your items back to you ($8 should be a max for shipping each way).

If you'd like to join, please leave a comment here with your email address and what activity you would like to contribute (to keep from having duplicates). I will email you back to confirm and to give you my mailing address.

Please feel free to pass the word along to others!

**Sign up will end this Friday, or when we have 15 participants. Whichever comes first**

I would like to do this. I could do the Math counting from 1-25, with the number and stickers of the amount on index cards and then include beads or bingo markers to self check. Sherry

Hadley,

I'm not going to sign up since my due date is in 3 weeks, but I think that's a neat idea!

Your box arrived yesterday--thank you so much for all the *clean* goodies you put together for me! I'll post more in next week's show and tell.

I actually did this recently with some women at church -- somebody had ordered two books from www.activitybags.com, so we didn't have to pay anything, then we got together one evening to choose which activity to make. There were almost 30 of us, so now we have 30 activities! I have to guide my young 3-year old through some of them, but they're definitely a great tool!
