How does this happen??

The socks above used to be a pair. They were, once apon a time, the same size.

And, below, all of these poor souls (or soles) have lost their mates. Poor dears.

Anyone else have sock issues?
Sorry for a boring post, but laundry is my life today!

laundry is my life often - I quit even matching them up. I figure my kids can do that as they grab socks. So far, they always grab ones that match. I love your blog!

YES!!! I've started a missing sock bucket. I've managed to reunite a few pair that way and some I've just decided to throw away when the never show up!! (although I would bet that they are hiding behind my washer somewhere!)

So funny - I was just having this conversation with my husband today. I went shopping and got sets of two color socks for each kid - hopefully it will at least help me get the right socks on the right kids' feet.

My least favorite thing about sock laundry is when you tell the kids and hubby not to put the "hol-e-er than swiss cheese" socks in the laundry, but the trash instead. Yet, somehow, you still find yourself matching them up after the next laundry day. What's worse is when you decide to keep one or two hole-y socks just so you can have an even match.
